Farm Girl Part 2

We went back to the farm yesterday so Avery Carter could help her daddy! She helped drive the combine, and she talked on the radio and got to honk the horn in her daddy's bob truck.

Standing Tall!

Well, today Avery Carter pulled up on her own in her little play pen. She stood there for a long time. She got really excited, and I could tell she was real proud of herself!

Hello!

>
Avery Carter gets so excited when my telephone rings! She smiles and always reaches for it. My mom decided it was time for Avery Carter to have her own telephone, and she's having the most with it!

Farm Girl!

We got to go to the farm today to see Will. It was Avery Carter's first time to ride the combine. She loved looking out the big windows! Beacause it's harvest time, we haven't seen much of Will, so it was really nice for Avery Carter to get to see her daddy!

Seven Months!

Avery Carter turned seven months Sunday! It's so hard to believe! She's crawling all over the place, and the past few days she's even started to pull up. She's really so much fun and such a happy baby!

Football is here!

We had a great time this past weekend in Starkville. It's amazing how different campus is! We were able to take Avery Carter to her first football game. She had so much fun. She loved watching poeple ring their cowbells. She even got to watch the bulldogs win! Hopefully we'll get back for another game this season.

On the go..

It's amazing how Avery Carter has changed so much in the past few days. For a few weeks she would sit up and play for hours. She wouldn't try to go anywhere. Now, all of that has changed! She's moving all over the place. I wouldn't call it crawling...Will refers to it as "diving." Avery Carter will get on all fours dive toward something, then sit back up and repeat the process until she gets to where she wants to be.

Go Away Gustav!

I was able to get away for a weekend with some sweet friends from college. We were celebrating Kathryn's upcoming wedding. We had a wonderful time, but unfortunately it was cut short due to Hurricane Gustav. Thankfully, we were all able to get home safe and sound.
