She said yes!

One of the most exciting things over the Christmas holidays was that Will's baby sister Laura got engaged! We are so excited! We love Laura and Reed very much, and can't wait for July 18th!

We had a wonderful, very busy Christmas! Avery Carter enjoyed her first Christmas! She loved having all of her family around. These are a few of the highlights!

Colorado

Will and I had a wonderful vacation skiing (and shopping) in Colorado. We had so much fun with Brad and Molly. It was beautiful and very cold! We arrived on Wednesday, and it snowing. It snowed all day Thursday and didn't stop until Friday morning.

Build a Bear

Shop til you drop...

Friday morning Laura, Claire, Avery Carter and I got up early and went shopping in Dallas. We had so much fun, and Avery Carter was an angel. What can we say, she has shopping in her blood. Santa, I am pretty sure he was the real one, came to the mall along with a real reindeer and Frosty the snowman. Avery Carter slept through Santa, then woke up in time to "Build a Bear." What fun!

Thanksgiving in Dallas!

We celebrated Avery Carter's first Thanksgiving in Dallas! We were there for Lee's(Will's brother)wedding. Will, Lee, and Mr. Harry fried turkeys Thanksgiving morning. We played sequence (with just a few arguements!) and ate way, way too much food.

9 months!

Avery Carter had her nine month well baby check up yesterday. The dr was so pleased with everything she's doing. She was 28 1/2 inches and weighed 21.3 lbs. Some of her nine month highlights...she claps, waves bye, gives hi fives, can say daddy, mama, hey, hi, bye, thank you. Probably her biggest accomplishment is that she's WALKING!!! She loves to walk everywhere. These cupcakes are from her grandaddy and that's our staircase with Will holding Avery Carter and our neighbor Reed.

Where's Avery Carter?

She's in her toy basket!!!! The other night we were playing in our den, and Avery Carter kept going to her toy basket to get out different toys. She then decided she would get in the basket herself. She's so much fun. We just never know what she's going to do next!

My Little Lion

We went to a Halloween party this afternoon. Avery Carter was dressed as a lion. She loved being outside and watching all of the big kids play.

Eight Months

Today is Avery Carter is eight months old. Time flies! She is such a blessing. These are some pictures I took of us playing outside today.

MSU Alumni Baseball Game

Sunday we made a quick trip to Starkville for the Mississippi State alumni baseball game.

It's Fall!

We are loving the pretty fall weather. It has been so nice to take Avery Carter out in her stroller. She just loves to shop in her stroller! I wonder where she gets that from???

Standing...Alone

Avery Carter "let go" and has started standing all by herself this week. She will stand for about ten seconds and then plops down!

Farm Girl Part 2

We went back to the farm yesterday so Avery Carter could help her daddy! She helped drive the combine, and she talked on the radio and got to honk the horn in her daddy's bob truck.

Standing Tall!

Well, today Avery Carter pulled up on her own in her little play pen. She stood there for a long time. She got really excited, and I could tell she was real proud of herself!
